Contents:
Betamethasone dipropionate 0.05%, clotrimazole 1%, gentamicin sulfate 0.1%
Indications:
Treatment of a variety of eczemas & other allergic & inflammatory dermatoses where secondary bacterial &/or fungal infection is present, including chronic dermatitis, eczematoid dermatitis, contact dermatitis, microbial dermatitis, follicular dermatitis, seborrheic eczema, intertrigo, seborrhoeic dermatitis, pustular acne, lichenified inguinal dermatophytosis & Tinea infections.
Dosage:
Apply bd-tds.
Contraindications:
TB & most viral skin lesions, particularly herpes simplex, vaccinia & varicella.
Special Precautions:
Prolonged use (10 days or longer); should not be used extensively in pregnancy, in large amounts or for prolonged periods; under occlusive dressings; avoid use in or near eyes.
Adverse Drug Reactions:
Local skin atrophy (continuous use), striae & superficial vascular dilation; local mild burning or irritation (rarely), ototoxicity &/or nephrotoxicity when applied to large burned areas or for extended periods of time, esp in patients w/ renal insufficiency or when administered concurrently w/ other drugs that are potentially ototoxic or nephrotoxic.
Drug Interactions:
Other potentially ototoxic or nephrotoxic drugs.

D07CC01 - Betamethasone and antibiotics ; Belongs to the class of potent (group III) corticosteroids, in combination with antibiotics. Used in the treatment of dermatological diseases.
